How to get here
See multimap.co.uk or maps.google.co.uk – just put in the postcode PL26 8LJ- and you can access maps, directions and aerial photographs. The nearest mainline railway station is Bodmin Parkway (7 miles) and the Newquay International Airport is 8.7 miles. There is Western Greyhound bus stop a mile away on the St Austell to Bodmin (529 service) and St Columb,Newquay) to Bodmin and Liskeard (593 service) – their timetable and routes may be found on their website www.westerngreyhound.com.
By road, take the A 30 west past the Launceston, Bodmin and Innis Downs (St Austell and Wadebridge) junctions. Leave the A 30 at the Victoria Interchange. Cross above the A 30, heading for Withiel and Ruthern. Pass the Asterix Restaurant and turn left down the Old Coach Road. Turn left at the Colbiggan stone and No Through Road sign about half a km down the Coach Road. You are now on the private road to Colbiggan. Cross the edge of Retire Common.
