Information for special needs visitorsWe are committed to Tourism For All. Owls Reach cottage is suitable for visitors with limited mobility and we welcome individuals, families, care parties and groups. Approximately one third of our visitors have a family or group member with limited mobility and all have been delighted with the standard of provision.
Everyone is an individual with their own requirements so please contact us and we will endeavour to help you or make the necessary adjustments within our capacity.
Owls Reach was designed to meet the standards of Accessibility Level 2, with parking very close to the doors. A ramp is provided to the front door. All the rooms are on one level, with no steps or door thresholds. All doors are wide to allow electric wheelchair access, and all sockets and switches at hand level.
The rooms are large with manoeuvring space and the shower room is wheel-in, with rails to the toilet, shower seat and non slip tiled floor. There are a number of companies who hire mobility aids and we can arrange this for you if you wish. We will also buy supplies for you on request.
